I’m an endorsed midwife in private practice, fierce advocate of physiological birth, keen veggie gardener and into all things homegrown and homemade, including homebirth! I live just outside of Nowra in the Shoalhaven, with my husband, our two children, two dogs and numerous chickens.
I have absolute faith in women’s abilities to birth their babies in their own way, in their chosen environment with their chosen support people. I support women, partners and families to embrace this special time in their lives, to realise their full potential to bring new life into the world together. I encourage health and wellbeing, supporting women to make decisions for their pregnancy and birth using the latest evidence available. I recognise that pregnancy is much more than a physical experience and support women holistically, embracing the social, emotional, cultural and spiritual aspects of their life.
I studied a Bachelor of Midwifery at Western Sydney University and Prescribing for Midwives at Griffith University, enabling me to become endorsed and insured to offer private midwifery services.
Please contact me if you are considering a homebirth with private midwifery care, I look forward to discussing your needs to see if I am the right fit for you and your family.
