Postnatal Care

The exceptional postnatal care provided when you have a private midwife is a standout and goes far beyond care able to be provided by mainstream services. Women repeatedly comment on the value of the postnatal care received.

Appointments are held in your home from birth until the baby is 6 weeks of age according to individual needs and preferences. 

We can debrief the birth during these visits as well as provide support for breastfeeding and caring for your new baby. 

I can complete newborn checks and screening as chosen. Postnatal appointments are also eligible for medicare rebates.
